New cabinet, old policies.

After the last NATO summit in Bucharest, Spain will maintain her effort of 770 troops in Afghanistan in order to stabilize that country but, will not send any reinforcement, as was expected.

Spain's re-elected Prime Minister Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapatero's new cabinet, which was unveiled after he sworn in on Saturday, consists of women more than men. Carme Chacon, who is a member of Catalonia’s Socialist party and former housing minister, became Spain's first female defence minister.
